Rompin' Rovers is dedicated to not only to our clients and their beloved dogs, but also to the welfare of all animals. We strive to be involved in the Tampa Bay area, participating in events which help to raise awareness to issues such as the homeless pet population problem and the need to support local and national no-kill shelters and rescues, spay and neuter programs, and many other great causes. The Humane Society of the United States estimates that 6-8 million pets enter shelters each year. Of those, approximately 3-4 million are euthanized. The need for homes for these pets is just far greater than many shelters can handle. Spaying and neutering your pet not only helps to prevent a surprise litter, it also decreases the risk of certain cancers in your pet. From time to time, we also have our own foster dogs, in need a loving home. Each foster dog has been checked by our preferred veterinary clinic, brought up-to-date on all required vaccines, and has been spayed or neutered. They have also participated in our doggie daycare program to gain crucial social skills. Rescued Rover In Need of Good Home
We're excited to announce that all of our recent fosters have been adopted! Here is a list of recent adoptions: Brother & sister Chopper & Cidni were able to be adopted to the same home of engaged couple Ryan Adams and Tracy Powell who found us on www.PetFinder.com. Salem was adopted by teammate Sadie Miller & her mom Suzanna. Griese is now the playmate of current player Max Crowe & proud mom Peggy. Flower was adopted by Tampa Golf owner & plaza neighbor Snap Smith & is now sister to Foster, Snap's first Rompin' Rovers adoptee! Snap also helped us place Jackson with friend Eric Hulthen. The sanctuary houses the most diverse population of exotic cats in the world, with 16 of the 35 species of wild cat represented among more than 100 residents.
